As I have gone through my student work at RMDY academy, I have learned so much about the specifics of homeopathy, it's foundations, and how it differs from nautropathy, allopathy, and all other forms of medicine (also including isopathy). The latin for homeopathy is 'similia similibus curantur', which translates to 'similar suffering'. This definition shocked me at first, until I learned more. In homeopathy, treatments or remedys are given based off of the fact that the remedy would create the same symptoms in a healthy person that mirroring illness would create in an unhealthy person, this is called the Law of Similars, and this concept was originally taught by Hippocrates. To make this easier to understand, take Allium Cepa (or onion), which is used to treat hayfever. For a healthy person who is chopping onions, your nose might run and your eyes might water, mirroring the symptoms produced by hayfever. Modern medicine does the near opposite, using allopathy, by treating with opposites. Homeopathy has worked wonderously for hundreds of years now operating under this one essential and primary concept, the Law of Similars.
